This week we watched Fire in the Sky, a "true story" based on Travis Walton's book The Walton Experience. We delve into discussion about conspiracy theories, aliens and ufos, all topics Jen finds freaky and Pat loves. Then we wrap it up by teasing next month's movies The Crush, and Benny and Joon. Then we call it a day after a round of 90's trivial pursuit questions. Awesome sauce.

March 1993 Potpourri: 90’s bedrooms, The Crow and Brandon Lee, Winter Holidays

This episode is recorded from the time capsule of Jen's old bedroom and we talk about the ways it's the same as it was in the 90's. We also talk about the unfortunate passing of Brandon Lee while filming The Crow, a little on the Storm of the Century, and do an FMK on St. Paddy's Day, New Year's Eve, and the Super Bowl. Cool Beans. 

March TV 1993: Beavis and Butthead turns 30!

Beavis and Butthead! A pillar of our youth, albeit a ridiculous one, turns 30 this year and we reminisce about our experience watching B&B as kids. This episode basically turns into a Mike Judge love fest and we wouldn't have it any other way. Also, Doogie Howser airs its last episode and we play our 90's trivia. Fun times!

March 1993 Music: Lenny Kravitz, The Cranberries, John Williams, Whitney Houston and Soundtracks

This week we discover what "I'm Every Woman" makes Pat think of (hint, it's Dress Barn.) We also talk more about "Linger" and the meaning of those lyrics as kids. We find ourselves in a Soundtrack inspired John Williams rabbit hole and as always we embarrass ourselves with a little Trivial Pursuit. Are you going to go our way?

Jan/Feb 1993 Movies: Groundhog Day, Groundhog Day, Groundhog Day

We've got you babe, it's Groundhog Day! Or maybe not but that's the Bill Murray treasure that we're talking about, in comparison with other time loop films like Palm Springs and 50 First Dates (think about it...) We also ponder the question of where we'd want to be stuck in a time loop, what's the scariest Evil Dead movie, how would you describe the plot of Fire in the Sky if you've never seen it, and much more ridiculousness. We top it off with a round of Trivial Pursuit and call it a day.
